Hey Denise and Donna! *waves* at everyone else!! I've been so caught up in my children's writing that I've not submitted in a while. Now, I'm revising for my agent and hoping with crossed fingers we can begin subbing out my PB at the end of the month. Please feel free to remove my name from the list, as I don't want to take away the others' traffic during the challenges. Best of luck to everyone! Write on, Romantic folk! :))
Sorry for my tardiness. I just can't get over the holidays! I've had my story finished, but kept on playing with it. I hope you like the result. Then I'll start moseying around reading some entries.
Denis, thanks for the email reminder. I wasn't sure I would make this one, but sometimes a little push is all it really takes. So thanks for that. Still, it's a very rough write, but a comeback of sorts.
Hello Denise, Donna and other wonderful REWers!' I have posted my story after whittling it down to under 1000 words. I have written this in my spare time which has not been a lot. It is now four AM my time and I will be going back to bed! Hope you all are well and happy! Anna oxox
Samuel McCord is my voice this post. Every New Year eventually becomes a ghost in a bruised heart. That is my take on this prompt. I hope you all have fun with this challenge! :-)
I really had a lot of fun writing it and I cant wait to continue writing the rest of the novella. I will certainly send it to you when it is completed!!!
Hi guys, phew, I've made it and posted my entry, touch and go with work commitments but I did it. I've also decided to bite the bullet and be very brave so with some trepidation I've asked for FCA. So please be gentle with this snowed in gal from a very wintry England. I look forward to reading all the other contributions over the course of the next few days.
The voice and attitude of your MC simply thrilled me Laura. I was smiling and feeling her misery in the room and at the situation. So glad her fortitude paid off at the end of the night :)
Thanks Donna - thanks Denis - I'd forgotten the thrill of getting each bit of feedback and putting it into play- a well as getting to read everyone else! Role on next month!!
Come on peeps! Who's in for this one?? Can't wait to read your stories. I'm just putting the final spit and polish onto mine!
ReplyDeleteWill mull it over and see what comes to me. LOVE the image!
ReplyDeleteWill submit something, hopefully a decent read, this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI haven't wrote mine yet either. It will be up by this weekend.

I'm still working on mine. I have written a rough draft with pencil on paper.
ReplyDeleteElisabet has a cold and possibly an ear infection, so I've been busy with her.

Really well written Anna. I loved the use of Swedish terms, and that was a unique setting for the concept.

Hi, ALL ...
ReplyDeleteI just posted my excerpt... Have a great weekend EVERYONE. Looking forward to reading all your excerpts.
That was vividly drawn Dude. I think I've had mornings like that - not since I was a lot younger though. Great characters and dialogue.

ReplyDeleteHi Sally. That was intriguing, what a nice mystery to start off my morning. I was attracted to his secretiveness too.
