I'm not sure I'll be able to post for this one. I have a story I'm working on and have to have it submitted to my ftf writers group by Friday. And I signed up for DL's blogfest too; luckily that is already pre-written and scheduled :)
If I'm able to write for this it probably won't post til Saturday afternoon. I'll be out partying with work friends Friday night, so who knows the quality of writing that will be . .
I won't be able to post this time but I do hope to read all your stories.
May I ask for your prayers? My daughter is missing and so is my grandson. Two days now. My other daughter was with her. The police won't do anything yet. I don't have a phone or car, they have it. Thanks, Nancy
Mine's doubling up for the Deja Vu blogfest, so it's over word count. But I reckon a few laughs will excuse me... It's true Sparkle Pantomime style sparkle! best F
They came back after I called the police again. Neither has ever done this before. I am still recovering from the scare of my life. I couldn't hold my grandson long enough. Thank you for your prayers. Nancy
Dear Denise and all RFWers, This is the first opportunity I've had to check the linky-post for 'Sparkle' this week. I took a day-trip on a bus with my daughter Elisabet on Wednesday, and am still exhausted. I've had so much to do! And my computer has been on the blink. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to link.
Luckily, I wrote a story right after the 'House in the Snow'-picture prompt. So I will be able to post this later this evening. (I am hoping to be able to have some photos with this post.)
It is not a very romantic text, but fits the theme of 'Sparkle' alright. (I think it is better to participate that not to, even if my text may not be winning material.) There are perhaps enough drops of romance in this story to have it qualify for the challenge. In any case, for several reasons, I really want to post this story. Hope you like it.
I am keeping an eye on the clock so I don't miss the linky.

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about your worries, and glad that your loved ones are safe now!
Best wishes to you all. Hope you have a safe and happy holiday season!
Hello again Denise, I've posted my story and put some photos to illustrate the text. But you may be confused by the pictures, because the story is about a little girl, and the photos are mostly of my son! For some unknown reason, my daughter did not want me to take pictures of her today, and I had already written the story with the girl. Sometimes those things happens.

Why didn't I think of that Francine? I seem to have some blocker on my site. Anyone having trouble reading my story?
ReplyDeleteDenise

Nancy I am so relieved. What a scare! Just so pleased prayers were answered.
ReplyDeleteAnna dear I'm sure you'll make it. Can't wait to read it romance or not. As you say important to post anyway!
Denise
Nancy, I am happy to hear that.
ReplyDeleteI actually started writing this for the last challenge but didn't finish it. So I kind of incorporated the two challenges for a longer write.
Happy holidays to everyone ~
