I was 'poemed' out after NaPoWriMo, lol. Plus I had a work project to round up, so needed the break. There was other stuff too. I was glad for the break and it did me a lot of good. Thanks guys:)
Myrna! Great that you jumped in! I saw your comment at Charmaine's and was hoping you would. I'll be around sometime tomorrow to read yours and all entries up!
I was not certain that I would be able to write anything. This text is inspired by my son, Erik's little accident, which, happily, has turned out well. He's going to be alright.
I have my official entry published and posted on my blog! I only hope that I did everything correctly with the help of my dear friend Andy and many thanks to him for sharing this information and news about this challenge.
Thank you Denise! Heather! I'm so glad I joined this group! This is truly exciting! I've never entered any blogging challenges so it may take me some time to fully adjust but I look forward to getting to know you all learning is always good so I hope to gain some much needed insight to the romance genre for it is something I feel may suit my taste and my writing style the best.. Thanks to everyone who commented on my blog and who took the time to follow me! I feel very welcomed here already!
Well I've just finished reading all of the first 14 entries and putting up the poll. I hope you all get around to as many entries as possible. I've loved each one. Especially make sure you visit our new writers with a warm welcome. And don't forget to follow peeps and tweet the post if you like it! If I didn't tweet yours, sorry, doesn't mean I don't like it but I was getting myself mixed up - have I already tweeted this? Gah!
yup yup... i saw the next challenge theme and i think i have a ready poem ive written about my mom and my dad last year so i think im ready to post it whenever you guys are ready to accept entrees :)
Hello everyone :) Thanks for participating to this weeks challenge. My link is up. It is late here and I have to be up early to go out of town. I should be back by tomorrow evening and will read all the submissions when I get back. Sadly I'm going where there is no internet access; and the people would kill me if I turned on the computer anyways.
I'll be leaving the netbook home so I don't tempt them. I'll see ya'll tomorrow.
My Honorary Swedes List is now up on my side bar. So far, I have two links: Denise and Tanya. It is Denise Covey who gave me the idea for this very special list, because of her intense interest in Abba.
This Honorary Swedes List is in memory of my Aunt Ruth, who did not have any known Swedish ancestors, but who married my uncle who was a very difficult Closet Swede. We all loved her for doing this. She made him happy; and the rest of us extremely happy.
I am going to read everyone's texts one more time before I vote. I am not always the best reader; I really need to read these stories and poems several times.
Didn't know linky was closed already. I have a second entry for 'perfect ex'. The poem is titled: 'You'll always be in my life...But.' Don't know if you can fit it in. Would love to share. Thanks.
I'm so sorry, I honestly didn't have time this week to put forward a piece for this week's challenge. My US publisher has been keeping me busy this last week in between writing and domestic chores. Check out my blog http://francinehowarth.blogspot.com and you'll see why!! ;)
Awesome entries everyone. I enjoyed reading them all; and I am pleased at the turn out. For those who had to miss, we understand life sometimes needs tending to.
I was glad to meet so many new participants, and equally happy some members were able to return and post for this. Good luck everyone in the people's choice awards :)
Time to flash! Look forward to the reads :)
