    I'm sure this time the linky will be slow as it's such a difficult challenge. I know I had to fiddle with my concept a little to fit the guidelines, but I did it! Still polishing away! Hope you're all up for the challenge.

    I'm just about to show my piece to my daughter before I post it but also I don't want to be the first one!! That could be one of the three things I could use in the next theme - could have more confidence in self!

      LOL; yeah Sally, I have that problem too. I'm always worried my excerpt is not what others are looking for. I know you write mostly auto-biographical, and I'm always interested in how you will interpret the themes.

    Good luck everyone. Featured Writer is a really great accolade.I shall not be posting myself this time, but I will try to check out as many of your entries as I can. I've got Dr's & dentists appointments, my book launch and a new job to prepare for starting in Sept, so I'm otherwise well and truly committed at the moment.

    Well I'm outta bed. I didn't want to be first either Sally, but I s'pose I'll have to suck it up seeing I'm a host. Well my story wanted to be 1,000 words so seems a bit abrupt, but never mind. I managed to edit it to 600 words.

      Nah, it had a good flow to it Denise. Hard work and attention to details always shows in a writing, and you did well with the concept.

      I'm kinda freakin out on this cuz I'm #2 on the linky; and I'm ALWAYS late. To everything. So, being this early is like, totally creepy.

      And you forgot to remind me this is a Friday the 13th post. I didn't get that memo until I wrote the date on my submission post.

      So I'm wondering how many of our RFW regulars/members will write a good superstition post to the Challenge?
