Since I have received very kind comments from readers (read especially Tanya Walton's comment) wishing me continue my story about Paul, Jenny and Priscilla, I am writing posts for both challenge No. 41 and 42 that will wrap up this story.
Yes, I know that I probably won't win an award because these texts read more like parts of a novella rather than purely flash fictional texts. But I really want to give my character, Jenny a second chance.
I wrote this very sad story because there were just too many strange and sad things going on around me during my trip.
I could not, I still cannot find the words for my real story. I had to create a character (Jenny) who was having a much harder time than I was, in order to keep from exploding with anger and frustration.
It's nice to be back, if I just can get used to the time change!
Just the act of writing can be its own therapy Christina. I am glad you are continuing to write your RFW challenges, and its always a pleasure to read a continuing saga.
You know the film, 'While I Was Sleeping.' So much happens while I'm sleeping on the other side of the world. You'll see why you beat me soon. As you know have lots of stuff happening, but I actually have my story all done, just a few more things to do on it...
Well I could have been cheeky and said I just let you be first for once, lol!
My entry is up. Not striving for prizes but to touch your hearts. Samuel McCord of RITES OF PASSAGE is the narrator. A young girl is at risk. India is going up in flames and screams. All in BEFORE THE MONSTER RETURNS.
Great Roland. I just came back from reading yours. There are only prizes for certain challenges from now on. It is far too difficult to choose a Featured Writer each prompt with such great writers strutting their stuff. D
Hi Denise, Donna. Happy Friday, happy Olympics everyone. Yay, Londoners rock! Looking forward to the Olympics opening tonight...on TV. Hope to drop by, read your stories soon. Have a great weekend!
I'm linked in now. Sorry about the quality of the pictures but with the scare over copyright of images I've had to take my own pictures and I'm not a very good photographer but I think you will get the gist.
i just linked up too, wish i understood the challenge and wish to always know your fruitful opinion, actually iam enjoying many shares in here, everyone is sharing in a special different way,i love it when minds meet together,
Hello all. Almost never made it! Got a lot going on with removing images, Lovers' Cove, plus I have to work today, so am rushing off. I'll catch up on entries later. Have a good weekend everyone!
Hi everyone: Car trouble has delayed my internet access. I need a new keyboard and mouse along with a desk. I hope to have that before the end of Aug. 2012.

I should have watched that; the highlights looked awesome. Your poetry was concise and engaging Adura. A lovely piece.
