Okay my lovelies, I hope you've cleared your desks and squeezed in time to write about The Romantic Picnic. We've posted about it, we've FB'd it, tweeted it, and now we see if we can get 20 entries. Can't wait to read your stories and poems...D
Dear Denise, I'm still working on mine, but I'll broadcast the Linky in FB, Twitter & G+. Quite a few have expressed an interest in linking up this week. See you later!
Well, Denise, you have another entry. A midnight picnic in a cemetery yet! Hey, this is me we're talking about! It was great fun. At least for me. Victor Standish not so much. I wrote this one especially for the challenge, too.
Ok I posted at my usual time, but I feel late to the party. Excellent turn out so far - thanks everyone.
I've had a headache for days and days (the fires and smokey air I'm sure) so I'm sluggish in getting around. Please be patient with me as I try to find the right medication that clears my aching eyes and stuffy head without making me want to sleep through the apocalypse.
Hello, It is my first link up here - thank you Andy, and to the hosts for the opportunity. Enjoyed reading the other entries, some great stories here. Thanks once again.
Wowzers! Indeed Andy! And I think a lot of the new entrants are because of your promotion efforts. Thank you. I know at least one more worthy writer who is going to post which will mean 20 at least. (I feel like writing another story just for this purpose, lol!)
Thank you everyone. What a lot of reading I have to do now!
WOW, what a turn out this week! I am suffering a disappointing block for this challenge. I will be stopping by to visit this weekend and if I come up with something I'll try to post later.
Not every prompt inspires a writing Heather. No problem; catch us when you can. We are glad that you have commented at least. Your feedback is always encouraging and well received. Hopefully you accomplished something either writerly, or in your day life that pleased you and made your week awesome. Have a great weekend Hon.
I still can't help hoping Heather gets inspiration as she reads our entries, lol! I enjoy reading your work, Heather! It looks like most entries really enjoyed this romantic theme! Go Donna! Pay dirt! D
Dear friends : It´s my first friday here. Thank you to Andy who invited and believed in me. I´m enjoying all the stories. Thanks to Denise and Donna too. Greetings with love to every participants. Kiss Elen
My dear Elen, Welcome to RFW. I'm glad you overcame your fears and entered this week. I thoroughly enjoyed your entry and look forward to reading more from you.
Elen, I echo Andy's welcome! I haven't been able to get around and read yet, but I know I have a lovely time ahead of me. Thank you again for posting for us. D
Hey everyone :) Ok, so my first link went directly to RFW. See how much I love this site (lol)
Anyway, I've deleted the last link (I was #13) and now I am #20. But seriously; the #20 link mark goes to Michael Di Gesu, who was #20 before I messed with things. You know how I'm always doing the SNAFU.
Congratulations to Michael Di for being #20, and allowing us to meet our goal. We still have several more hours of linky time; and our fabulous partner Denise is working on a voting Poll to vote for your favorite author for this weeks Romantic Picnic Challenge. Voting starts tomorrow.
Thank you everyone who participated this week, and to those still contemplating their excerpts. It has been a pleasure to read your submissions; and I know I will equally enjoy the ones I have yet to read this weekend.
Kudos to all for your awesome writings.

PS: yes; I am feeling better. The air has cleared, I am down to one allergy pill a day, and my eyes aren't as tired or achy. I will sleep in on Sunday (had to work Saturday) and that should put me back to normal.
Glad you got your entry relinked Donna. It was wonderful to meet our #20! And a great story he wrote too.
Well, sadly my romantic weekend at the beach is all but over. It's late Sunday here. I've just finished reading all the entries and wouldn't mind if a few more trickled in. I'd be happy to extend the linky.
I will wait on the poll as I want to make sure there's more chance of everyone being read.
Hi everyone! Many apologies if you've come back to vote and are wondering - where is the Poll? It seems our friend Google has deemed Polls aren't to be saved ATM. I've been trying for 2 days and Donna tried too, but for some 'javascriptvoid' reason, no go. So sorry! I know you wanted to vote for your favourite entry this prompt, but it's just not happening.
When Donna does the Wrap Up on Wednesday you're most welcome to add a comment if you want to have your say...
SO THE POLL IS UP! While troubleshooting the problem I found the consensus was that Polldaddy was far better than the problem-fraught Blogger Poll. So we only have a day to vote before Donna does her Wrap up. Go!
Dear Denise, My vote has been cast. It was hard with so many great entries this week, but I tried to keep in mind what you said about the word limit, romance as well as the theme. I'll be back for the wrap up. See you again soon!
I may have almost missed my chance to vote!! Good thing I came back to vote! I'm glad you got the poll up! :) My vote's been cast! Good luck to everyone! All the entries were great!! And congrats for meeting your goal!!! Wooo-hoooo!!!! :)
Was that yesterday or much earlier today - anyway it doesn't matter. I was one of the first few people to vote, I think. Poll went up as I was about to go to bed, lol.
Im so sorry for everyone i wanted to share z voting but through ma mob z vote tab isnt showing and unfortunately i cant have lab for these couple of days,my apologies.to all I hate mob version as it doesnt show everytjing
Due to circumstances, Donna is a little late with her wrap up. I just want to come by and tell you that, and also to thank everyone for such great entries. The voting system really doesn't tell us much, as Nancy says, we've all got such varied tastes and whatever else skews our attempts at finding an outright winner. D
