    1. Bad me; I started mine tonight, but for some reason it devolved into a post for another blogfest.

Guess I'll be up all night writing . . .

  2. Hi,

Mine's up! Out of the race this time on WC, but I'd still love to be considered for feedback, tho I'll not qualify for the 1000 words :)

Have the greatest weekend, all of you!

    1. Nila, sometimes a story takes on a life of its own and has to be written as it presents itself. There will be other prize Challenges :)

I know I'll enjoy reading your submission. Thank you for writing an excerpt for RFW.

  8. One of my great uncles ( my dad's first cousin) eloped and there was such a fuss. His father almost disowned him because the girl was not from a well to do family. Later on people talked the father and he finally accepted the girl as his daughter in law.
I thought that it was very romantic when my great uncle was ready to leave every thing for his beloved.

    1. That is a good story Munir. Do you think you could write up an excerpt that shows the elopement and the ceremony and maybe include the vows written by each of the newlyweds? It would make an exciting creative-non-fiction story!

Thank you to everyone who has posted so far, and I hope to see a few more before the link closes.

    Hi Everyone!
I am saying almost the same as Yolanda. I almost did not participate because there are so many things that need to be done right now.
    Best wishes,

    2. You are always missed, Michael, when you don't have time to post.

I posted only a few hours before closing.

      Look forward to your Honeymoon-story.

      Best wishes,
      Anna

  15. I didn't make it this time. Got called in on 2 of my days off. But I have a post up wedding related that I finished today in part due to the recent Supreme Court decision and added a scene from a story to it over on my blog at mmbyadwilson.wordpress.com. It's also one of the shortest I will probably ever post. lol

Maybe next month I can get a post up in time. Though going to have to think hard for a honeymoon story. Don't have one yet.
