I've added a sequel to my story. Linda's comment made me want to do this.

  8. Ach; mine's up, but without a single romantic element. Sorry guys.

Like most everyone else, I'll be making my rounds this weekend. I've read a few excerpts without commenting already :)

Thanks everyone for your participation. I know its hard to get back into the regular swing, but you guys/gals have always amazed me with your writing concepts, and I expect to be thoroughly entertained with this unique prompt.

Catch ya later at your own sites :)

  9. Hi all,

Well, this morning I noticed Denise' post on FB...

YIKES! I had completely forgotten today was the come-back post. Nonetheless, writing hat on over lunch I penned a piece, and posted in the nick of time to be up within the hour... If you think it's rough writing, tough! ;)

Be round over the weekend to all contributions...

  11. I posted my story Thursday night, but it has been so crazy these past 3 days at the blood center that I forgot to put up the link to it. I was beginning to think nobody liked me anymore!! :-)

  13. I've read everyone's story. Wonderful! I voted too.

We are moving today, Monday, May 7, 2012, to a bug and mold free apartment. I had to make some tough love decisions in regard to my oldest daughter who isn't working and won't even do temp work. After months of verbal abuse, I have put me first. Trust me, I never put me first, so please pray that she lands on her feet, gets rid of Mr. Alcohol, (literally, her other half is an alcoholic and I think he is trying to make her one too) and creates a positive future for herself. Alcohol ruins so many people.

  14. Hi Nancy, so pleased to hear you're moving to a better environment but sad that your eldest has got herself into such a situation. But you need your life; you must do as you're doing. Your daughter needs to make her way at her age. You're right about the alcohol. It can become a refuge from the trials of life. Let's hope your daughter sees its destructiveness and moves away from its influence.

Thoughts and prayers with you Nancy.

    Denise

  15. Hi everyone, sorry I didn't post this time. The image didn't inspire me I'm afraid. I hope to make it around to all your pieces soon.
Lovely to see so many entries on the linky.
